Firm History

Originally founded by partners Kevin Cuenot and Terry Forsythe in 2005, the firm was renamed Cuenot, Forsythe & Kim when Stanley Kim joined them in 2009. Since that time, the practice has added a select number of well-qualified professionals and staff.

All our attorneys have distinguished academic backgrounds in both law and technology, were trained at large firms with well-regarded intellectual property practices, and have at least a decade of legal experience. The firm represents a diverse mix of clients including Fortune 500 companies, several medium- and small-size companies, as well as individual inventors.

Firm Philosophy

Cuenot, Forsythe & Kim’s success stems from its belief that a boutique association of talented intellectual property professionals is the best model for providing clients with the highest quality work product at a reasonable cost. In the simplest terms, we offer ‘large firm’ strategies and approaches combined with the personal attention of a small firm.
