Mr. Forsythe received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to practicing law, he worked as an engineer for 13 years, during which time he obtained substantial experience in electrical and electronics engineering, including various types of RF circuit design, missile defense systems and audio/video systems. Mr. Forsythe has practiced patent law for over well over a decade, with an emphasis on procuring patents in the electrical, computer, software and mechanical arts.
With additional experience in patent infringement analyses, patent non-infringement analyses and appeals before the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, Mr. Forsythe also specializes in software development agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements and intellectual property provisions of employment contracts. Currently, Mr. Forsythe focuses his practice on procuring patents for a variety of well-known technology companies.
