Stanley Kim, Ph.D.

In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bowdoin College and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami, Dr. Kim has a law degree from Suffolk University, where he graduated at the top of his class. He is an inventor of several patents, has published several legal articles, and has been a sought-after speaker in a variety of forums. He has been named one of Florida Trend magazine’s Legal Elite.

Dr. Kim has worked in the intellectual property field for over 2 decades. Prior to Cuenot, Forsythe & Kim, he was a partner at a large Florida law firm where he led the patent and life sciences practices. A registered patent attorney, Dr. Kim has extensive experience in procuring domestic and foreign patents, licensing and joint ventures, intellectual property opinions and due diligence, strategic patent portfolio development, trademark and copyright issues and intellectual property litigation matters. In addition to intellectual property matters, he has a significant background in drafting and negotiating various transactional agreements relating to clinical trials, manufacturing, sponsored research, biological materials and employment and consulting.
